About the founder

Thomas Z. Seffernick is the founder of Z Marc Productions, a company he established after identifying a unique and underserved niche in the film and television industry—focusing on the vibrant and diverse LGBTQ+ community. As a proud member of this community, Thomas deeply understands the significance of personal stories and the ongoing need for authentic representation, especially in an industry where such narratives are often overlooked. With a strong belief in the power of diversity, he champions the importance of building inclusive teams, understanding that a diverse crew fosters a more creative, enriching, and dynamic storytelling environment.

“We all possess a unique voice, rich stories, and diverse experiences that we yearn to share with the world at large. Sets can often be chaotic and challenging, presenting hurdles that can feel overwhelming, but they can also be incredibly rewarding when we navigate them successfully. I recognize that it becomes even more difficult to get a project made when you are unsure of the next steps to take and lack the necessary support to accomplish your vision. Our distinctive stories, varied cultures, and personal experiences not only assist us in understanding the complexities of the world around us but also help us to connect with one another as individuals on a deeper level.”
